STORY

⽇本で唯⼀の⼤⼯道具の専⾨博物館「⽵中⼤⼯道具館」の奥庭。主である建築のソトで刻々と変化する時間のすがたを映す庭。茶室「⼀滴庵」のかたわらで、⼀⽅の島の橋から滴り落ちた⽔滴が、⽔紋となりもう⼀⽅の島にまで垂れ流れる。⼀滴がつくる静かな変化を、しだれ桜や六甲の⼭がはこぶ四季とアワセながら。

This is the back garden of the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum. It reflects the ever-changing appearance of time outside the main building. Next to the tea room "Itteki-an", water drops fall from a bridge on one island, creating water ripples that trickle down to the other island. We designed an environment where you can enjoy the quiet changes created by a single drop, along with the four seasons brought by weeping cherry blossoms and Mt. Rokko.
